The Institute of Information Technologies was founded for support and develop teaching and research aspects of information technologies in Slovakia and other countries. We help universities and research institutes in teaching and researching in Information Technologies. We are oriented to realisation of different activities for grown of potential of talented young researchers and PhD students and help them to oriented in the global market. We are distributed our own teaching and scientific experience into Slovakia and beyond. We are looking to help grow a new generation of young researchers with global impact.
Institute of Information Technologies is a non-profit organization. The Institute is based on providing the following generally beneficial services:
1. Research, technical and information services
- work on international and national projects in support of research and development in the field of information technology
- organization of different events (conferences, seminars, courses and other meetings)
- ensuring the conditions for research and development in the field of information technology
- support for publishing and participation in various research and scientific events
- providing educational activities in the field of information technology teaching
- dissemination of knowledge in the field of information technology
- supporting the mobility of researchers, experts and other IT professionals
2. Services to support regional development and employment
- analysis and promotion of information technology capabilities to ensure regional development
- cooperation with Slovak universities and other R & D organizations
- presentations of companies providing employment opportunities
